Chapter 10 No Laughing Matter

Well the day had finally come the day Eiley was warned about April Fools day. Why April Fools day because this was the day Luan goes on her annual prank everyone insight rampage. Will Riley survive his first Loud House April Fools. It's time to find out. This day started out with Riley telling Lucy some of the things he really liked about her. 

"Lucy the one thing I can't resist is the way you laugh."

"Ha      Ha      Ha Ha       Ha Ha Ha   ha"

"Yep that's the one."

"Sigh! you're too sweet.

before it could go any further Lincoln came bursting through the room.

"Why are you two just sitting there it's April fools day and Luan is on the loose she could be any where."

"Well we haven't seen her" Riley explained. Then the creepiest thing happened the Coffin on Lucy's bed began to open inside Luan burst out.

"Well I guess it's my turn to rise Get it hahahaha" Luan puns as she begins pelting them with water balloons.

"INCOMING" Riley shouts as the three of them bolt out the room narrowly escaping Luan dry.

Thanks to Riley's speed he and Lucy got out fine. However at this point no one else was that lucky for the Loud house was a warzone.

Riley, Lucy and Lincoln assess the damage. Lana was clean head to toe trust me a big deal for her. Leni's clothes were replaced with cheap unattractive knock offs. Luna was covered in dough. Lola's doll heads were all switched and her princess car vandalised painted to look like a clown. Riley tries to encourage everyone.

"Come on we can't let her win we should stand up to her and tell her this isn't funny."

"Sigh! Riley we've tried that nothing gets through to her."

"well then I'm going to march up their and tell her to knock it..."

Before Riley could finish his sentence a spring boxing glove hits him in the face and sends him through the front door outside.

"Hey Riley I guess I knocked you off hahaha" Luan said from one of the bedroom windows.

"Sigh Riley are you okay!"

"That's does it gather everyone else this means war!!"

"You sure Riley?"
"Trust me Lucy! Luan has no idea who she's dealing with." Riley said witha sinister grin that made Lucy sigh and blush in a loving way.

Minutes later

"Alright have we all got that" 

The Loud family look motivated at whatever Riley's plan is as they venture back in the house though I'm guessing everything went wrong as Luan is enjoying all the commotion down stairs of her traps being set off watching it off her live feed. 

But wait something is off Luan begins to notice. She began to realise there was something familiar about all this as she hits the pause button and the video pauses. It's not live this is last years pranks.

"No It can't be who did this." Luan says as she realizes another startling discovery wheres Mr Coconuts.

"Pop Quiz hot shot when a madman takes over your day and steals your dummy what do you do" Riley says immitating and revealing Mr Coconuts in his hand and clearly stole that line from the movie Speed.

"I'm going to get you" Luan screams as she chases Riley out the door. Riley is moving weirdly as if he knows exactly Luan's traps are. Yes while Luan watched last years april fools. The Loud family Riley found all the remaining traps. 

As Luan chased Riley only thinking about Mr Coconuts safety she was taking all the practical joke punishment that was meant for everyone else.

By the time it was all done Luan woke up tied and strapped to a chair her whole family surrounding her.

Infront of her Mr coconuts also tied to a chair with two very real looking guns pointed at his head.

Luan was scared.

"Okay Riley you win now please let me and Mr Coconuts go"

"Why would we do that Luan you'll just keep on Practical joking no matter who you hurt in the process."

"Aww come on guys you know i'm just having fun right" Luan defends.

"Does your family looked amuse look at all this damage people could have gotten hurt or worse do you really want that on your conscience." 

"I mean look at Mr Coconuts look where your jokes put him."

"Please don't

"Sigh Riley you're taking this too far."

"Today Luan I want you to look into the eyes of the one that beat you at your own game. Now Mr Coconut pays the Penalty.

"Riley Please don't hurt Mr coconuts" Luan begs.

Even the rest are looking on as if they are trying to tell Riley to stop.

"Hey Luan April fools as Riley hits the trigger button the guns go off sheets of cloth roll out with the word Bang on each side."

With that everyone burst into laughter including luan just as the sunset ending April fools day.

"Hahahaha you really had me going there Riley" 

Then her face gets scary. "finally a worthy opponent I'm a get you next year."

"And I'll be waiting Luan."

"Sigh you made this the best April fools ever."

"Yeah dude thanks to you Riley we got to have fun too" Luna Loud says as she blasts with an electric guitar tune.

When Riley Met Lucy Loud Chapter 9 Loud cancelled

 

Things have been going wrong for the Louds the past couple of days. It has slowly and certain effected all the children in the house. It all 2 days ago when Bobby cancelled his date with Lori and Lori burst through the front door beyond Mad!

"Errrrghhh how could Boo Boo Bear do this to me I hardly get time away from exams and Golf and when I finally have the chance to see him he doesn't show! I could SCREAM!"

It didn't stop there then Leni's shift was cancelled.

Though Leni didn't seemed bothered either way. Then Lynn Jr was benched for the championship game.

"I HATE THAT COACH HE HAS NO IDEA WHAT HE'S DOING! YOU DON'T KEEP THE NUMBER ONE SCORER ON THE BENCH DURING THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME." 

Lynn Jr screamed as she randomly threw Lincoln up the stairs like a Wrestler. Next Lola came in bursting in tears as her latest Pageant was cancelled. Lana's Pit crew mentor failed to show up.

Luna Loud and her gig with her band The Moon Goats was cancelled due to a cheaper act.

"THAT'S BOGUS DUDE." she screamed as she played and angry solo that literally raised the roof of the Loud House.

Lisa was forbidden to enter the science fair something about explosions. Then Lucy Loud came in looking depressed and I mean even for her. 

"Sigh!! They locked the Cemetary now the Morticians club can't do our funeral march"

She went straight to her room and closed the door. Riley was there but not even he could comfort her as she closed the Coffin lid on him.

Then Lincoln and Luan came in even their joint act of comedy and magic was cancelled.

"Well I guess we all blundered! Hahahaha" Luan said trying to lighten the mood. "But still this sucks."

It was then Riley realised what was going on and began trying to think of a solution. He had one of course thought it up real quick.

His upcoming Wrestling show was coming up at Lynns Table. Lynn Loud Seniors restaurant. 

"Yes that just might work."

Riley comes out Lucy and Lynns room dragging Lucy's Coffin with him.

he comes to the living room with the rest of the siblings who are looking down in the dumps. 

(Knock Knock)

"Hey Lucy you want to come out for this."Riley said as the lid opens and Lucy sits up.

"Sigh! this better be good Riley."

"Don't worry it is now I know all your plans got cancelled so if you want why don't you all help me out with my wrestling show I have some awesome jobs for all of you."

"Lincoln how would you like to do some of your magic in the Ring while you also ring announce." This made Lincoln smile and jump up with enthusiasm. "Leni we're going to need costume designs how about it could your skills help us out I'm counting on you."

"I can do that Riley Tots not the prob."

5 seconds later!

"Uh Leni you haven't moved?" 

"I'm waiting for you to start counting."

Everyone slaps their head.

Luan how would you and Mr coconut like to commentate I think it could use your unique comedy.

"Not to worry Riley we'll have it on lock up get it Lock up hahahaha."

"Luna I think the Moon Goats can play a 30 minute preshow and the intermission how about it? I expect you to Play it Loud."

"You got it dude"Luna saus as she rocks out a Guitar solo.

"Lana and Lola we're going to use your talents to form a unique position Lana can wrestle as The Mechanic! and you Lola can manage you can parade around the stage just like Pageant infact your Ring name Pageant Queen."

Riley then looks to Lisa. "Lisa you and Todd are incharge of tech including Pyrotactics and smoke machines and running the entrance music."

"Glad to be of assistance this is no problem." Lisa responds. 

"Lynn You're wrestling me in a Lucha style mainevent how about it."

"YEAHHH!" Lynn yells as she changes to her Luchador attire.

"Sigh what about me? You don't have a job that suits me." Lucy says in misery.

"Don't be so sure you have and the entire Morticians club have the most important job of all."

Lucy looks at Riley in confusion.

Riley then unveils his own Coffin. "My Lovely Lucy you get to help me debut my new character El Destructor the demon Luchador you and the Morticians club get to walk me in the coffin down to the ring.

Lucy Sigh's but this time it sounds loving. 

"I get to do my Funeral march after all."

"That's not all I want you to write like an enchantment to say so when i come out of the Coffin it's like I'm rising from Hell."

Lucy then smiles in that way to show excitement.

Trust me she is excited.

What about Lori don't worry that's a surprise..

Needless to say the show went off without a hitch everyone loved the Moon Goats rocking it out. Riley as his many characters having simple matches with Lana and Lola Loud. The twins turned about to be talented Heels. As Riley came out again in his Mayhem the Clown costume. Lincoln introduced a mystery opponent known as Boo Boo Bear Bobby! 

A nice surprise to Lori as Mayhem the Clown declares love for Lori and if Bobby wants her back he must pin Mayhem the clown 1 2 3. Needless to say Luan was rooting for the clown and having fun making puns on commentary with Mr Coconuts. Bobby won the match as part of the storyline.

and Lori and Bobby were off on a make up date.

Then came the intimission Luna and her band got to rock on the stage again for another 30 minutes til the lights went out. Then back on as blue lights smoke machines creating myst as the Morticians club With Lucy Loud leading carrying out a Coffin. 

Luchador Lynn was already in the Ring looking pumped.

Lucy went to the center of the ring with a mic and began saying a enchantment.

"Fallen warrior awaken from your slumber I your mistress commands you take the soul of this mortal. Rise and form to serve your mis tress. As the coffin is stood up in the Ring. Riley aka EL Destructor punches his way through the lift and the match begins. Royal Wooods Wrestling championship on the line. Lynn and Riley tore the house down for 20 minutes til El Destructor/Riley got the win.

It was an epic night as the whole Loud family holded Riley Up like a hero and celebrating for he gave them a night none of them would ever forget a chance to combine all their talents.

However April fools is just two days away now are the Louds prepared for Luan's wrath

When Riley Met Lucy Loud Chapter 8 Riley's World

 

                      Chapter 8 Riley's World

Today was a new day in the House of Loud as Riley was being dragged around by one sibling after the other. Lucy accidentally stumbled on something that Riley kept hidden in what belongings had survived. His Journals we know Lucy and books she decided to open it and go ahead with reading. Things he had written since his childhood by that I mean his original childhood from the real world.

There it was all the answers she even found out his real name. 

The journal was even filled with pictures so Lucy got to see I guess Rileys true appearence from childhood to his real age. He never changed all that much but always that look of sadness like he was having a miserable time. Of course that look of misery on Rileys face made Lucy smile. A lot of the journals contained most of the bad things that happened in his life in the real world.

As Lucy read! her face became something else it was a look of horrification. There was one entry about him in preschool when a group of kids had grabbed him hiding him under the playground pinned him down took his pants and were picking at him with bark trying to scrape stuff off I think you get it. Another was this one entry the first time he tried walking home from school when he was 6 years old his mother over slept for two hours he was nearly flattened on the road you see no one taught him the road rules lucky they had cross guards at the time. As Lucy kept reading Riley expressed how he felt scared from the loud noises of passing cars saying they were like monsters to him. 

She read on she couldn't believe it this was too much misery and heartbreak even for her.

Even Lucy had to shed a quick tear I guess she couldn't understand how one person could go through so much but still remain optimistic that things would get better for him.

Hey as it turned out it did get better for him. He did become part of a Prowrestling family and yeah Lucy was really getting into the pictures. I think she especially liked the pictures from the Casket match. She also found his Cthulhu journal filled with all his interpretations of the Cult of Cthulhu religion. A real religion by the way he's still waiting on that Cthulhu Amulet BTW.

As she finally had finished reading a voice startled her.

"So what do you think a best seller."

For once Lucy was the one to jump as Riley stood there.

"I'm sorry Riley I accidentally came upon your journals and I couldn't help myself (Sigh!)"

Riley simply smiled and said "It's fine you're the one person allowed to know everything about me come on theres a storm coming that cemetary Picnic is not going to have itself. 

From there they had their best day out yet which started with chasing Riley around with the Hearse! 

"Sigh! fear me I am a monster in this car ha ha ha."

Eventually they arrived at Royal Woods cemetary and had their lovely picnic in the rain clothes all wet they snuggled until it stopped.

"Riley I'm glad you went through all that misery."

"Yeah why's that Lucy?"

"Sigh! because that misery brought you here to me. Now you better run I'm starting the Hearse."

"Errgh!! Again!"

"Don't give me that Riley after all I now know why you met me let me run over you with the Hearse (Sigh!)" 

Yep every other couple says I love you. Riley lets Lucy chase him down with the Mini Hearse instead.

They then went to the cinemas and saw a movie they will enjoy as much as they can for April fools is till fast approaching.

When Riley Met Lucy Loud Chapter 7 Royal Woods Gone Batty!!

 

With everything finally settled in the House of Loud. With Riley and Luna making peace. Infact he was now her number one fan even began providing security for all her gigs. Sorry Flip but no funny business from you when Riley is on the job. It was even starting to get to a point where Lucy was beginning to feel just that little bit left out.

However Riley was no fool he would always make sure he had time for Lucy after all he admired her most of all. Like every Loud! Lucy isn't afraid to be herself. Yes no matter which sibling Riley was hanging with he'd always include Lucy. Today Riley and Lucy took the Hearse out to the Beach for the day though Riley won't admit it I'm sure for once he's glad to be snuggling next to Lucy inside the Hearse rather than under it. Lucy tried to be all Sigh about the beach however Riley knew deep down Lucy was beach goer and it didn't take much for them to start having fun. Then the rain set in.

As everyone else at the Beach was scrambling about the place trying to run off Riley and Lucy remained snuggling in the rain I guess to them it was magical. 

"Let me get this straight Lucy you're not into any superhero whatsoever is that right."

"Sigh sorry its just not my cup of tea."

As Riley investigated this he realised the superheroes of this world are nothing like the ones back home and there sparked an idea after all some of his belongings survived.

"Tell you what give me tonight to prove I can get you hooked on one Superhero after that I will drop the subject forever."

"Sigh! very well Riley do impress me!"

"Oh ho sarcasm trust me babe you're not gonna know what hit you!"

"I'm shaking!" Lucy says with a little smile.

Later that night Lucy and Riley have the TV all to themselves Riley inserts the movie as he went to return to the couch everyone else has crowded in curiosity. Yep they all knew about the bet. 

"Well everyone braced yoursleves in the world I come from this only came out a year ago." As it turned out the movie turned out to be last years THE BATMAN.

Needless to say the dark theme and music of the film already have Lucy mesmerised in a total Awww. Though I think the rest of the Loud sisters were looking Pattison up and down especially Lori and Leni infact Lori hanged up on Boo Boo Bear I don't think even Luna could help herself. For nearly 3 hours the movie went. As most of the Household were becoming a little terrified none left the couch. As it was over the lights came back on.

"Well I got to say thats one exciting film" Said Mr Loud.

"Thanks Mr Loud So Lucy I'm waiting."

Lucy is sitting still not moving or talking her lips shaking as she tries to form words.

"Ttthat wwwas the darkest superhero movie I'd ever seen so dark and tragic almost a slasher flick turned into a Sherlock Holmes novel Sigh! Riley you were right can we watch more."

"If you insist."

So that night they had a Batman marathon though you could tell right away the two Tim Burton films were the over all favourites. Riley skipped the George Clooney one.

You can imagine Lincoln and Clyde were now Playing Batman and Robin. And Lana modified Lola's Princess car into a Batmobille she was not happy. Meanwhile Lisa was trying to build a Batwing.

Soon the films spread all over town and everyone was getting into the Batman spirit oh Riley what have you done!

Meh he didn't care he's just happy that now there is a super hero that he and Lucy can share and it was imprtant to enjoy the next ten days because after all RIley would soon face his greatest challenge yet. Luan's Prankathon April Fools day

WHEN Riley Met Lucy Loud Chapter 6 Whats with Riley and Luna

 

Today in the Loud House things were pretty much normal with the exception of Riley the boy from another universe taken in by the Louds and Lucy Louds love interest. Normally he's up beat and friendly to all the Loud siblings however there is one he seems to not get on with so well. Luna Loud once again she is rehearsing for an upcoming gig. Luna would start to sing

"Rock n roll is running through my veins (hey hey) Electric soul like wires to my brain (hey hey).

Then Riley would burst in "heres your hey hey knock it off really."

"Oh sorry dude"

Riley then walked back to the room he shares with Lucy and Lynn.

"Yelling at my sister again." Lucy said as she rose from her Coffin. "I don't get it Riley I know your not a music hater your a big time rockn roll and Heavy metal fan yet you've never been to one of my sisters gigs." 

"It's not your concern Lucy leave me alone." Riley responded as he opens the bedroom window and jumps from it.

"Sigh something's obviously bothering him but what?"

Lucy thought on this for a while and decided to take action.

She went over to Lincolns room.

"Oh hey Lucy I don;t have time to help you with a rhyme."

"Sigh it's not that It's Riley!"

"What about him?"

"Have you noticed how he treats Luna, He has not once been to one of her shows everytime she tries to engage with him he gives her the cold shoulder. I can understand misery but not even I behave that way towards others.

"Hmm Lucy now that you mentioned it I remember Luna trying to show Riley a new Jam and he just walked away.""You know what this looks like a case for Agent Steel."

With that Lincoln and Lucy together spied on Riley watching his every move. Luckilly they were in disquises yep there was no way Riley could recognise them.

"Hi Lincoln Hi Lucy are you following me!"

BUSTED

"Sigh I'm sorry Riley I just want to know why don't you like our sister."

"Oh... Okay first I'm sorry about this morning and the truth is it's not that I don't like your sister. It's just she's a constant reminder of someone I knew back in my world.

So Riley spilled the beans about his past. Well as it turns out Lucy can be very empathetic when she wants to be as she embraces Riley with a hug.

"Sigh I understand try to remember you're not in that world anymore."

The next night it was time for Luna's gig and as always Luna was rockin it at her fathers restaurant the whole family was there to cheer her up. And for the first time Riley was there to cheering with the rest of them and having a good time. 

Luna Loud couldn't hide how happy she felt to see Riley there she didn't understand why he was there nor did she understand why he was so cold to her. She was just happy that he finally included himself. Lets face it Luna was more upset about that more than anything else Riley did.

Then the real unexpected happened It was after midnight Luna woke up and wanting to get a glass of water when she heard a suddle yet familiar sound coming from the backyard. As she got closer to the door she came to realise it was her song Play it Loud.

She burst out to find Riley Rocking out to it by a Bonfire.

"Wow no way dude"

"Oh Luna what are you doing Up?"

"Don't try and change the station you're a fan but I don't understand how come you have been treating me the way you have." Luna asked.

At that moment it Riley realised it was time to close the book on his past life in another universe and he fully opened up to Luna Loud told her everything.

"Back in my World I was ahuge fan of this rock group had a major crush on one of the singers and we actually became friends. We supported each other in everything. I confided in her trusted her and one day she started dating a girl and I got a little jealous. Never did anything bad I assure you accept I did the right thing and admitted the jealousy said I was fine and was happy for her. The next thing I know she's telling me we can't be friends anymore. I guess it stung me more than I realised. Because Luna you reminded me so much of her. Well cause like her you're an awesome rocker guys and girls are going to love you I really believe that. You both even have the same taste in girls. It was kinda like reliving it and I couldn't go through it again so I distanced myself from you I'm sorry cause I realise now in some ways you are alike but in so many good ways you aren't alike.

"Ohhh dude bring it in."

Riley was hesitant at first but he did give Luna a hug and as it turned out the rest of the family were watching and listening and everyone embraced each other in a big family hug. 

"Sigh I am just glad you're feeling better."

And Riley was feeling better and he never missed any of Luna's concerts again and she never missed Riley as he wrestled matches in his own Pro Wrestling promotion after all who do you think does Riley's entrance music.

When Riley Met Lucy Loud Chapter 5 Saving Lucy Loud

 

I could list all the reasons that I Riley love Lucy Loud. The simple answer is I love everything about her. From her gothic appearance to her creepy laugh and even the times she runs me down with the mini hearse I built her. But nothing made it more clear on the day I thought I'd lose her forever.

It started as typical day accept Lucy Loud was playing on the family game console the new vampire zombie fashion slayer. So naturally she was playing 2 player with Leni.

Apparently you customise your vampire hero with multiple fashion choices and it powers them up to slay Zombies who are over taking the world. At first I didn't mind it but then she was paying less attention to me for almost a month.

4 weeks of ignoring me on dates so she could portably play that game.

She couldn't even run the Morticians club.

She hadn't even tried to hit me with her Hearse and trust me I began to really miss that Lucy is kinds cute behind the wheel. 

Anyway so I decided to try play the game with her at least that way she sort of interacted with me again. 

Got to admit the gameplay wasn't too bad though saving games on that console was weird apparently you have to push a button benath the console to save gameplay weird.

So I decided to buy my own Console so we didn't have to fight Lucy's siblings for it all the time. And thats where our troubles really began.

As we bought our new console we had noticed some men out back apparently selling illegal gaming technology the video game piracy type.

I stayed to get there attention. I thought Lucy was going to get help. No such luck she accidently jump scared me in that way she does and gave away our position to these criminals. Everything happened so fast to the point Lucy was no longer with me. As I tried to turn back I got a brief sight of her being taken into their Truck. 

Since this is just a childrens cartoon world I know Lucy would be safe. The no killing rule Everyone knows Police in cartoons are useless. So I rang the siblings It didn't take long for Vanzilla to appear with Leni behind the wheel.

If anyone to catch up to those creeps it was her crazy driving. I observed Lucy had her Portable gaming device and thanks to Lisa we were able to track it to a Ware house in the middle of Royal Woods. Lincoln and Clyde insisted on doing their Agent Steel thing so I let em have their fun meanwhile Lynn and I charge in Pro wrestling brute force duo.

I'll tell you those Louds can be surprisingly brutal if you mess with one of their siblings. As for me they messed with my Lucy who sat knocked out and tied to a chair. So every bit of cartoonly like pain I could inflict on those guys was going to hurt and I would enjoy every second of it. In my world i'm limited to reality but here there is nothing I can't do to them.

When the battle was won Leni was able to tie the crooks up with some fashionable durable belts. Leave it to Leni to know the right belts for the job.

Lincoln and Clyde found all the illegal stolen tech.

As for me after we got the Police here and crooks put away It was finally time for something a little over due.

That's right for me to give Lucy Loud a Eulogy for once. Perfect timing to she had awoken in time to hear it. And well it inspired her to put the game down and go on living her life. And I couldn't be happier even though I am her Human Speed bump most of the time I'm just glad to hear her laugh again.

 As Promised I'm back I guess I decided I didn't need a week to write the next entry. Now Even though I had now finally begun wrestling school my journey to become a Pro Wrestler was far from over nor was it easy for me.

I'll say something about having a Backyard wrestling background. Yes you by doing it you do build a wrestling foundation however a very bad one. Yes I was loaded with all these Backyarder bad habbits to the point it took forever for me to learn the basics. How to work a hold a body part and tell the story by working the match. 

Still Pete wanted to give us Rookies a chance to experience what it would be like on the show so he gave us I guess you could say our own segment the Shock Poker game where myself and the future owner of IPW but back then fellow rookie R.I.P, Dexter Logic, The Spider, Kurtis the Dream and Tom anyway so we had to play this game of poker the rules were you leave your seat your eliminated. Then the tagteam Shock therapy made their appearances and started picking us off one by one. All of us getting a beating. I remember getting hit in the back by Violent Berryl's fly swatter ouch! in the end Dexter won the game and wrestled the Lord Of darkness Ashe for the Slamnation championship.

After that I took a month off over Christmas and used the time for solo training I would practice my basics on an invisible opponent everyday for a month I did this til it clicked. And when I returned for training in the beginning of 2009 

I was put straight in a training match with The Mighty Hercules. And I went for it Pete didn't have to call out to me I could mat wrestle and use my basics and I was working the holds and when the training match was over I was expecting to get yelled at again especially the way Pete yelled RYAN!

Then suddenly he started clapping then the whole dojo of trainees were clapping. Pete said Ryan that is the best you've ever done. needless to say I was so happy. Still it would be a whole other year before I could wrestle on show.

Why is that you ask I didn't have money for Ring gear and there was an incident where I nearly got fired and to be honest I should have been fired which is why I say to you upstarts leave your ego out of it if the boss says your not quite ready for the show listen to him and certainly don't attack the smartass little shit of a trainee with a mouth for poking fun at you for choking the opportunity. In 2009 going under the name Sarge wearing Military cammo pants and war paint I had my first official match a 20 minute tag team match It was Reaper and I vs Mystery and brace yourself for this Toni Storm thats right The Toni Storm the one that made it to WWE and currently in AEW but back then she was simply the greatest female Wrestler in IPW history and only a year active. 

So we tore the house down for twenty minutes working the whole match working on the fly like most of our IPW matches were working off the fly.

Which I always loved made the wrestling feel more Organic I think is the word to describe what I mean.

After that night I'd never be Sarge again that caamo paint got everywhere and on everybody who entered that Ring haha!

So then the next year I travelled Australia and began checking out some other Pro Wrestling organisations could never stick around long after all back then I was working for a living lol But I always use to sneak in the beginner classes I learnt almost every pro wrestler trainer has a different method of teaching different way of doing certain things even different names for some of the moves.

It was an opportunity to see what other pro Wrestling organisations did differently. Got to meet other Australian legends like Mason Childs Miss Nikki Nitro, Matty T Australias most popular referee. 

2010 I made an appearence on PWAQ Pro Wrestling aliance Queensland. Where I was reunited with Mystery and had a one on one match with him. Unfortunately it's off the record. But to me it still counted cuase at the time it was an official match that the owner wanted to post online. I don't know I think the other wrestlers didn't like the fact the match happened at a training session and not the show so it didn't get posted.

Then I did do a show at Club Chermside in Brisbane for PWAQ I appeared in a over the top Battle Royal. Where I can add two things to my accomplishments. 

One most respected wrestler of the night mainly cause I took a series of chops from four or five wrestlers and didn't try to cover up once. Apparently that earnt me a lot of respect aparently most try to cover me nope Pete trained me to take them like a man. And second I bled in the same Ring Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair used when they toured Brisbane

After that I continued on with IPW appearing here and there due to me not having enough money for training fees so I could only train and appear on show if I had them fees that still goes on to this day.

I'm going to leave it there for now and be back when I tell you my continous reign in IPW that lasted three years non stop.

Journal Of Australian Pro Wrestler Ryan Melrose 

introduction

and my first day of training

This may just be the closest thing I ever write to an Autobiography. To be honest you might question whether or not my Pro Wrestling career is something to write home about. However my story is far from over for I feel the sport of Pro Wrestling isn't quite finished with me just yet.

My name is Ryan Melrose I now reside at Gold Coast Australia and I have been wrestling Professional for five years and have been involed in Professional Wrestling for over 15 years.

For me my interest in wrestling came when I was 12 I had to spend my 2002 September holiday vacation at my schools Vacation care program basically where divorced over working parents dumped their kids so they wouldn't run wild unsupervised.

I walked in on an older kid he was watching the 2001 Royal Rumble on VCR. I decided to watch it with him and was instantly hooked. I especially loved watching Kane dominate the Royal Rumble match that year. My interest in Pro Wrestling didn't fade and in 2004 I was reintroduced in to the content of WWE where my interest in this incredible sport grew but I suppose thats the case in many aspiring Pro wrestlers.

Well as my High school years went on I had decided the world of Pro wrestling was out of my reach. I figured only America and Japan and countries had the sport.

Then 2006 happened my interest in becoming part of Pro Wrestling was reignited once again. Not because of a WWE Superstar I admired like everyone else. No It was two things you see I was not a good school student too many other kids for teachers to concentrate on plus they were boring as heck sorry to say. So rather than focus that time on subjects that I just couldn't despite my efforts pay attention to I started focusing on how I could make my dream of becoming a Pro Wrestler possible. 

It was then I became aware of another young man like myself and like me he started out wrestling in his backyard on a trampoline. This kid would become the man The high flyer, The risk taker, The daredevil, The dangerously Amazing Danny Danger.

Even as a backyarder he had talent soon he was trained at LVW and BWO I believe the companies were called. I decided if he could do it then so could I.

Earlier yes I admitted I was a backyard wrestler so were many other Pro's Personally I don't have a problem with Backyard wrestling as long as they were like myself being safe and responsible no dangerous spots or hardcore wrestling. No me and my guys we were TWE we wouldn't even do snap suplexes without proper training. It was a fun way to spend our weekends.

Others may not approved but atleast I wasn't joining gangs and doing drugs with a bunch of low lifes. Which if I'm being if wrestling hadn't have found me thats probably where my life would have ended up.

Even in High school we were those wrestler guys at lunch breaks we went at it. Before school we went at it. After school in the afternoon we went at it. You get the point!

Still there was a problem of where to learn how to wrestle professionally here in Australia. By chance Jimmy one of my dads former bosses mentioned there was a Pro Wrestling school right there in the Gold Coast.

When I got home I began researching and found out about 4 Pro Wrestling Organisations PCW located in Melbourne I use to binge watch their clips all the time Daniel Swagger's feud with The Pitbull. Years later I would have online converstaions with Trikki D who helped me out with some pointers later in my career when I showed him clips of my wrestling. AWF located in Sydney run by a man known as TNT. PWA and finally the one on the Gold Coast IPW Australia the school I would pick and glad I did.

The year was 2008 6 months after graduating I turned 18 so now I could make my choices and to hell with the nay sayers and family members who said I couldn't do this. Myself and a friend of mine travelled all the way from Brownsplains to the Gold Coast by public transport 2 hour plus travel To the IPW Sweatshop.

Well we weren't prepared to bring Training fees however the head trainer and promoter of IPW Pete The Hawk Ball decided to give us our fist lesson in the ring for free after one lesson I was hooked. Learning to lock up with Aussie Icon Jackaroo and just watching the other more experienced wrestlers go at it and training. I remember taking my first bump taking strikes from the other wrestlers around. I remember having this big crush on one of the Women Wrestlers I won't name names in this particular case.

Anyways when the first and free session was over I knew I was definitely coming back. More on that next time the next entry will be up next week
