What If King Piccolo Won A Dragon Ball Discussion

Hey guys Ryan Melrose here today I wanted to share with you my first Dragon Ball Z What if fan story. complete with my own art.

Now if your like me and are a big Piccolo fan this one is definitely for you.

This What if is all about Piccolo and what might have happended if he had won that fateful battle against the Monkey boy Goku at Kings Castle..

For the most part the battle goes exactly the same it does in the anime. Tien Shinhan is beaten and worn out after trying and failing to inprision Piccolo with the evil containment wave.. Just when things look their darkest for Tien here comes Son Goku who has returned stronger than ever thanks to the Ultra devine water just like in the anime.

Then the battle commences Piccolo watches in horror as this kid kills his minion Drum right infront of him like he was nothing. Tien looking on in amazement. As Goku and the evil king go at it. 

And for the most part like in the anime King Piccolo is no match for Goku. Which ;eaves Piccolo desperate he blows up the entire castle and most of the city. 

When the dust clears King Piccolo is shocked to see Goku is still alive along with Tien So then Piccolo gets desperate and takes Tien hostage like he does in the anime

Goku of course giving into king Piccolo's demands to not engage or Tien dies. The evil King takes full advantage and pelts stones at all of Goku's limbs only this time he gets both his arm. This of course cancels out Goku's big finale move that defets Piccolo at the end. This time Goku is defenceless. Then Piccolo takes to the sky

He then plunges into Goku and finishes the young hero off,

King Piccolo is of course over joyed.. "Hahaahahaha was this the best your warriors have to offer me hahahaha Now this world is mine for the taking."

Piccolo notices Tien Shinhan getting to his feet King Piccolo begins to char ge him when Tien hits him with a Solar Flare this blinds the namekian and allow s Tien to escape with Goku's body.

 Along the way he runs into Yajirobe. Who came to watch the fight but of course is too late. They then run into Yamcha Bulma and Launch who had just arrived. They of course receive the news of Goku's death. They all fly back to Kame house whee they place Goku in preserve chamber like the others who died trying to face Piccolo. Master Roshi, Krillin and Chaotzu..

They sit down together in silence when Tien gets to his feet and declare he will go to Korins tower and receive training  from the masterand he will face King Piccolo again.. Yamcha agrees to come along  with a little argument match between the two they both agreed 2 training together is better than one. Meanwhile Bulma has just received terrible news that her home West city has been destrpyed with no survivors in cluding her parent..

Keep in mind the only reason West city wasn't destroyed in the anime is because Goku stopped him. This time Goku failed.

Bulma of course breaks down in tears and her friends Launch Oolong and Puar.

Menawhile Yamcha and Tien have reached Korrins Tower and had completed his training and took the water from Master Korin

Needless to say they are significantly stronger. Tien tried to push for the ultra devine water but Korin refused. It was simply too risky since Tien and Yamch are they're last hope. 

Meanwhile King Piccolo has rebult his legion and rebuilt Kings Castle in his own image and renamed it Piccolo's Tower.. He has his legion searching everywhere for Tien. The fact that he is still alive is an insult to the new evil king..

But next King Piccolo will be ready so he is never dethroned ever again. King Piccolo has begun training. Keep in mind just like Frieza King Piccolo hadn't traoned a day in his life there was never a need Piccolo was bor powerful. But after so many close calls from Master Roshi, Tien and Goku.. He will not allow another human to accomplish what they could not.

3 years have passed and the World martial arts tournament has been cancelled all the martial artist in fear of Piccolo now and 3 more cities have been wiped out by Piccolo and his Legion on King Piccolo day. No one is safe.

But in that 2 yeasrs Tien and Yamcha continued their training and are about as strong as they were at that point in the anime.

They're on there way to face Piccolo agaon and put an end to the tyrant however vefore they could they are dealt a surpise a yellow flash of light hits the ground before them Yam cha and Tien saw a figure emerger from the dust. Tien and Yamcha instantly recognized King Piccolo and immediately charged. But It's not King Piccolo It's Kami who with a single wave of his energy knocks Yamcha and Tien off their feets.. 

They soon realize the being before them resembles Piccolo but is indeed not Piccolo. It is Kami the Guardian of Earth.

Kami: I have been watching you both and I know what you intend to do as admirable as it is I can't allow you to throw away your lives like that. Especially for fighting my battle.

Tien: Your Battle just who are you?

Kami: My name is kami I am the guardian of the Earth but that wasn't always the case. You see long me and the being known as Piccolo were once one. I came to the look out a long time ago seeking to succeed the previous guardian. However my predecessor saw a part of me I tried to deny and wouldn't allow me to succeed him as long as there was an ounce of darkness in my heart.

I spent years meditating until finally I was able to drive the evil from me that evil became Piccolo. You see Tien, Yamcha this is all my fault.

Yamcha: Your fault I'll say why didn't you just kill Piccolo yourself? Your strong enough!

Tien: Yeah what gives?

Kami: Your right I could but by doing so I would die as well as we are a part of each other like two halves of a single coin. However but now thats no longer a risk..

Tien:?

Yamcha:?

Kami: I have a deal for you If you assist me in defeating Piccolo I will restore Shenron and allow you to use the Dragon balls to undo the damage Piccolo has caused.

Tien: Wait you can do that

Kami: Indeed I did create them after all.

Yamcha: Wait just a second if we kill King Piccolo you will die as well!!

Kami: Thanks for your concern but I won't die thanks to you Tien I learned a trick to get rid of Piccolo once and for all..

Tien: Wait you mean?

Kami: I've learned and mastered the Mafuba to the point I won't give up my life to use it

Yamcha: Alright so we have a chance we can undo all the damage that monster has done. We will wish our friends back

Tien: Yes Let's finish this

Kami smirks and they journey together towards Piccolo tower.. 

Meanwhile Bulma and Launch along with Oolong Chi-Chi, and the Ox king have been evacuating the towns and cities we're king Piccolo's legion of monsters have struck.. Bulma came up with this ingenius plan to load people in big vegicles and walk out with them in Dino caps. They'd often sneak out cities little resistance. When they were met with Piccolo's offspring using Ki Powered Weaponry they defeated the monsters easily.

Where did they hide under the basement where the Capsule corp building stood before Piccolo destroyed West city the day Goku fell.

Bulma and the resistance decided to journey to East City for it had been selected to be destroyed on this annual Piccolo day.

As they were eveacuating as many as they could they were spotted by a two of Piccolo's children.

Quickly Bulma and the rest had to think of solution thats when Oolong transforms into King Piccolo and tries to hilariously call off the monsters..

Oolong: These prisoners are in my custody you go ahead and just leave go on..

However the monsters aren't buying this at all they try to talk Oolong telepathically cause remember Piccolo is telepathically linked to all his children.

Monster 1: Your not Piccolo you're an imposter you will die for this treachery..

Oolong changes back, the monsters charge him. Oolong is cowaring and just like that they're dead they forgot all about Bulma and Launch with their Ki Powered Blasters. The monsters are dead..

King Piccolo ofcourse senses the deaths of his two children and sends a huge legion to investigate their deaths suspecting this is the work of Tien Shinhan. The Martial artist who got away.

Bulma and the rest manage to slip away on a speed plane. But this has left Piccolo Tower completely vulnerable and perfect for Tien, Kami and Yamcha To take down Piccolo once and for all..

They storm the tower taking out the few remaining monsters of King Piccolo's legion. With the exception of King Piccolo's elite warriors Trombone, Gong and Triangle.

An Epic Battle breaks out! Tien and Yamcha take the elite warriors while Kami is battling King Piccolo one on one. It's an even battle Tien and Yamcha seemed evenly matched with the Trio. While King Piccolo and Kami are tearing it up causing Piccolo Tower to shake and rubble to pieces. Ki blast are going off everywhere.

Kami is surprised at how much Piccolo has improved to think he actually trained and put in the effort to even surpass his better half.

Kami has no choice it's now or never only the Mafuba (evil containment wave) can save them

King Piccolo: You can't win old man if you kill me you die too

kami: heh heh you maybe right but maybe I am willing accept my fate..

King Piccolo: YOU WOULDN'T.. ha I see trying to bluff your way out of this. I am stronget than you and you know it.. What could you possibly do to stop me..

Kami: Your as arogant as ever Piccolo don't you think I've been watching the humans have shown me how to get rid of you..

kami takes out a bottle uncorks it and places it to the ground. Piccolo is scared he knows what's coming..

Kami: Time to go home

Kami says with a smirk..

King Piccolo: No not that anything but that..

Kami powers up the Mafuba and fires it at Piccolo it seems Piccolo will be captured but wait. Piccolo is smirking.

King Piccolo: Are you done can I have my turn EVIL CONTAINMENT REVERSE!! and King Piccolo traps kami in the bottle just like Piccolo Junior does in the anime during the Tenkaichi Budokai.

Remember King Piccolo has been training and has seen that technique enough times to learn how to reverse it..

Tien and Yamcha are shocked they can't believe they had once again failed to stop Piccolo the only thing they could do was escape.

Which they do when Tien uses his Solar Flare and they escape..

For the next 5 years Tien and yamcha assist Bulma with saving as many lives as possible and training but now Earth is about to get a new visitor.

It is Raditz a Saiyan warrior

Suddenly Raditz emerges from his Space Pod he is surprised and delighted by the carnage he is witnessing.

Raditz: Ha well done kakarot you've done the Saiyan race proud you really are my...

Before he could finish his scouter goes beeping he is detecting all these high power levels with in 200 210 mark..

Raditz: WHAT?? Whats with all these life readings and power levels they can't all be Kakarot!! I WANT ANSWERS!!!

Raditz then takes flight heading straight for the two closest power levels. He arrives to find two winged like monsters. King Piccolos children heading towards him. 

Monster 1: Hey look another human lets wipe this one out too!

Raditz: Hahaha! You dare face an elite saiyan warrior with puny power level of 120.

The monsters fire an energy beam that hits Raditz but does nothing to him.

Raditz: Ahh thanks that felt really good on my shoulders. Now let me show you how it's done... DOUBLE SUNDAY! 

Raditz uses his Double Sunday and oblitorates both monsters

Raditz: Ha! pitiful..

Meanwhile in Piccolo tower, King Piccolo senses the demise of his children believing this is the work of Tien and Yamcha he sends his legion to investigate. but it's too late Raditz is long gone heading towards two more powerlevels  one of 310 and 280.

Raditz: when I get my hands on Kakarot I will ring his neck for failing to complete one simple mission..

Meanwhile outside whatsleft of the Capsule Corp building Yamcha and Tien are training when they sense a tremendous and dark power  heading straight it's not Piccolo or his legion. This is something worse but oddly familiar at the same time. Something from the past.. 
To be safe they hide and spot Raditz flying towards them..

Raditz: ALRIGHT COME OUT YOU HEAR ME IF YOU DON'T I'LL SMOKE YOU OUT!!

Tien and Yamcha meet the stranger

Yamcha: whats your business here friend?

Raditz:  I'm looking for a man named Kakarot he'd look kinds like me and have a tail like mine.

Yamcha: A TAIL!!... GOKU?

Raditz: Ah so you do know him tell me where I can find him at once.

Tien: I don't like your tone friend who's Goku to you anyway?

Raditz: His name is Kakarot.. he is my brother now tell me where he is.

Tien: He died a long time ago.. he died trying to save this world from the monster that rules us. He was murdered by King Piccolo..

Raditz: YOU LIE!! theres no way anyone from this planet could defeat Kakarot he's a Saiyan warrior if he has been defeated he fell in discrace..

Yamcha; I'VE HEARD ENOUGH OUT OF YOU.. AHHHH!!!

Yamcha and Tien charge Raditz and are easily knocked out by him.

Raditz: You two have spirit I'll give you that. Now lets find this King Piccolo he'll pay the price for opposing the Saiyan race..

The scouter goes off the charts picking out the entire legion of Piccolo's children and Piccolo who has a powerlevel of 610..

Raditz then flies  down trying to wake Yamcha Tien he's just realised he'll need their help to get past all that.

Raditz: Humans... humans come on wake up I didn't hit ya's that hard...

Then suddenly secret underground bunkers open and Raditz is surrounded by Bulma and here anti Piccolo resistance . Including Chi-Chi Launch, Oolong, Puar and Ox king..
