READ CHAPTER 1 below

Chapter 1: A Walk Through the Eerie Forest

Our story begins in a middle-of-nowhere county town known as Widgebur. Widgebur was a town shrouded in mystery it only had a handful of locals The Beach was often gloomy and grey and as otherworldly as the rest of the town. It truly was a town that time forgot. The whole place had a certain feel about it as it something evil was plaguing this town perhaps a curse or local superstition, but you could feel the dread on the local's faces.

Widgebur was also surrounded by layers of forest a forest that looked like it had seen a better day. Quite a few trees were destroyed not by chainsaws or by some delinquents playing with fire. But more like the life had been sucked from the forest in certain areas. Gellert Stockman, an elderly lighthouse keeper who kept watch over the Widgebur Torch Lighthouse, walked through the dense forest with a sense of dread hanging over him. The trees loomed above him, casting eerie shadows on the ground. He heard the rustling of leaves behind him and quickened his pace. Was something following him? He couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched.

Every now and then, he spun around, but there was nothing there. The silence was deafening, except for the sound of his footsteps. His heart raced as he tried to make sense of what was happening. He had never felt so alone and vulnerable before.

As he walked, he thought about the stories he had heard about the forest. Stories of strange occurrences and unexplained happenings. He had always dismissed them as mere superstitions, but now, he wasn't so sure.

Gellert's mind raced with questions, but he pushed them aside, knowing that he had to focus on getting out of the forest. He quickened his pace, hoping to leave whatever was causing his fear behind in the woods. But the mystery of what was happening continued to weigh heavily on his mind.

His quickened pace then went from a fast-paced walk to running full-speed. He had to get home to his to the Widgebur Torch Lighthouse there he felt safe and sure nothing could harm him there.

As he ran he couldn’t help but think why now? Why was this happening now every other time he had taken a stroll through the forest and visited the town or bought some supplies, not one incident. So what has changed why did today feel so different?

Why did Gellert Stockman feel something was after him he had lived and played in this Forest ever since he was a child his family lived in Widgebur for generations.

As he ran trying to come up with some possible explanation all he could think was how he wished his father was still the Lighthouse keeper he would know what to do. Unfortunately, Gellert’s father passed away just two months ago.

Gellert was in the clear as he can see his Light house just ahead as he races for it running and crawling up the steep hill giving it all his might as he returned he felt truly relieved. This was his home this was his sanctuary and he always felt safe inside the Lighthouse. Yes in just five minutes he could brush off the whole experience to nothing more than an overreaction. Yes that was it the whole time it was just the wind.

Gellert entered the lighthouse and locked the door behind him, feeling relieved that he was finally safe. He went to the kitchen to make himself a cup of tea and tried to calm down. But as he waited for the kettle to boil, he heard a strange noise coming from upstairs. At first, he tried to convince himself that it was just the wind, but the noise grew louder and more persistent.

Gellert couldn't ignore it any longer. He cautiously climbed the stairs, one step at a time, his heart racing with fear. hands shaken he grabs his dads rifle pointing it forward as he climbed the stairs.

As he reached the top of the stairs, he saw that the door to the lighthouse's lantern room was open. He knew he had locked it before leaving for his walk in the forest.

“Whoever is inside the Lantern room you have five seconds to come out before I pump your guts full of Lead.” Gellert yelled he tried to sound brave as possible...

Fearful and shaking, he slowly approached the door and peered inside. What he saw made his blood run cold. The lantern room was filled with an eerie green light, and there was a figure standing in the center of the room. It was a woman, but she was not like any woman Gellert had ever seen. She wore a long white dress, her hair was wild and unkempt. Her eyes glowed with an otherworldly light, her skin was so pale it was as white as milk.

Gellert stood frozen, unable to move or even breathe. The woman turned her head slowly towards him, and a chill ran down his spine. He knew that he was in grave danger.

Suddenly, the woman began to move towards him, her feet barely touching the ground. Gellert turned and ran as fast as he could down the stairs, but he knew it was no use. He could hear her laughter echoing through the lighthouse as she followed him.

As Gellert reached the ground floor, he felt a cold hand grab his shoulder. He turned around, expecting to see the woman, but there was no one there. He was alone in the lighthouse, and yet he knew that he was not safe.

Instead of seeing the girl the room is suddenly filled with a tendril of mist. Gellert watched in horror as the mist filled the room, he pointed his rifle at the ready hands shaking with fear that he couldn’t hide his finger ready to squeeze the trigger.

The mist began to envelop Gellert the lighthouse was not visible it was almost like he was now in a different world. A world of mist terror overcame him as he felt something tap his leg. Surprised he points and opens fire the loud bang of the gunshot echoes throughout the lighthouse as he begins firing more rounds in random directions. Reacting to the loud sounds of crashing and movement he could hear all from the house but could not see. He regains his composure breathing less heavily and calming down listening and moving cautiously.

He detects movement above and opens fire above unsure if he hit anything. Suddenly something from above lifts him into the air and drops him flat on his face.  Before Gellert could regain his footing, he is Suddenly pulled into the mist he tried to grab the floor and anything else to fight against whatever had him, but it was too strong Gellert screamed in horror as he was being dragged into the unknown.

Gellert's screams for help go unheard, as whatever is hidden inside the tendril of mist continues to drag him further into the ocean's mysterious fog. The darkness is disorienting, and he struggles to keep his equilibrium as he is swept up by the mysterious force. Gellert sees faint reflections of glowing eyes in the fog, but before he can take a closer look, he is pulled further into the fog and out of sight.
As he is dragged deeper and deeper into the darkness, Gellert feels a sense of helplessness wash over him. He knows that he is not alone, but he can't see what surrounds him.

His vision is nothing but the dark black abyss of the ocean depths.

Chapter 2: The Arrival of Agent-Eye

The sun was setting over the F.A.T.E. headquarters, casting a warm orange glow over the busy streets. In the heart of the city, Agent-Eye AKA Vincent Crade was preparing for his next mission. He stood in front of a large metal door, waiting for it to open and reveal his next assignment. Agent-Eye was a F.A.T.E. agent - an elite group of agents tasked with investigating and solving events normal Authorities can’t handle including paranormal and supernatural events. He wore his metal helmet with a single red eye that glowed in the dark two blue points sticking up either side, a green bulletproof jacket, a grey shirt, brown tights, and black boots. He was ready for whatever the mission would require.

As the door slowly opened, Agent-Eye's boss, Director Valerie, emerged from the room. She was a tall woman with short red hair, and she had a stern expression on her face.

"Agent-Eye, we have a new mission for you," she said, handing him a file. "We've received reports of strange events occurring in a small town called Widgebur. We need you to investigate and find out what's going on."

Agent-Eye opened the file and began to read. The reports were unsettling - sightings of strange figures in the forest, unexplained noises, and a general feeling of unease in the town. It was clear that something was amiss in Widgebur, and it was up to Agent-Eye to find out what it was.

"I'll head to Widgebur immediately," Agent-Eye said, tucking the file under his arm. "I'll report back as soon as I have some answers."

"Good," Director Valerie said, nodding her head. "Be careful, Agent-Eye. We don't know what you're up against."

Agent-Eye left the F.A.T.E headquarters, hopped on his specialized motorcycle, and began the journey to Widgebur.

As he rode, he couldn't help but think about what he was getting himself into. He had faced countless threats over the years, mostly homicidal madmen but this was his first supernatural mission the training wheels were now off, but something about this mission felt different. He had a sense that he was about to face one of his greatest challenges yet.

When Agent-Eye arrived in Widgebur, he pressed a switch transforming his bike into a briefcase the town was just as eerie as the reports had described. The streets were deserted, and the buildings looked like they had seen better days. He knew that he needed to gather information if he was going to solve the mystery.

First thing was first set up a command post as a base of operations as he checked in at the Widgebur Inn. It was an old run-down-looking building, but it was the only Inn they’d got. As he steps inside, he sees this decrepit-looking elderly woman who ran the Inn. After checking in and receiving his room key for room 10 Agent-Eye began trying to ask the elderly woman questions

“Good morning, ma'am, I hope you're doing well today?” Agent-Eye asked sounding polite.

“Oh, hello there. Yes, I'm doing just fine. Thank you for asking” The elderly woman stared with a hint of curiosity on her face. “What if can I help you with mister?”

My name is Agent-Eye I’m with the F.A.T.E. I’m here to investigate the strange occurrences happening here in your town. I'm here to ask you a few questions about the town. Do you mind if I ask you a few things?”

“Not at all. What would you like to know?

“Well, I was wondering if you could tell me a bit about the history of the town. It would help my investigation greatly.” Agent-Eye says as he points to an old picture of the town that hanged above the Elderly Woman.  It seemed back then the town looked beautiful and peaceful the complete opposite to how it felt today.

“Oh, I see. Well, I'm not much of a historian, but I do have this key here that might help you out.” The elderly woman hands Agent-Eye this old key.

“A key? What is it for?” Agent-Eye enquires as he observes the key it must be as old as the town he figured.

“It's for the town's archives. They keep all sorts of records and documents there that might be of interest to you.” Agent-Eye pockets the key

“That's very helpful, thank you. But I was hoping to learn more about the town from a personal perspective. What are some of your favorite memories of living here?”

The Elderly Woman's expression goes from pleasant to almost blank she ignores Agent-Eyes question and skulks back into her room behind the desk.

Agent-Eye couldn’t help but feel that the whole experience in talking to the Elderly Woman Inn Keeper was odd, however, could be innocent and understandable maybe she simply didn’t hear him.

He checks out his room and then decides to check out the town maybe hit the Tavern. He removes his battle helmet and locks it inside his room. His face is badly burnt and disfigured with cybernetic properties including artificial Eyes.

He notices the Elderly Inn Keeper hasn’t returned to her desk but feels he’s being watched.

He leaves the Inn and begins moving about the town he runs into a few locals.

So, he began by talking to them, but they were hesitant to speak to him. They looked at him with a mix of fear and suspicion, though with his appearance who could blame them.

Though as Agent-Eye spoke it became clear they may know a lot more than they are letting on. Agent-Eye persisted, however, that scared them away and they went silent much like the Inn Keeper did.

It became clear the Locals here were terrified to speak so the next local he finds he simply asks where the Tavern is. Agent-Eye new form experience people at Tavern’s always get drunk and when they get drunk, they spill all sorts of information. Besides he wanted a drink.

I WANT HIS BLOOD! first episode

I've been working on this new web comic series for a while now I want his blood is my first serious attempt at a romance comic series and I came up with a Vampire theme. So atleast this gets me practicing a different style of artwork. The look of the main character Lucin Card while I'm trying to stick to a manga style I definitely took inspiration from Lucy Loud like how you cant see her eyes.

So the story revolves around her and her family of Vampires trying to fit in with modern society. However their peaceful co-existence is threatened when teenagers are murdered one by one causing a panic. One day Lucin meets a human boy who may be at the center of it

I invite anyone reading this to check out the first episode here at tapas.io/episode/2917689

HOW I GOT GOOD AT CREATING COMICS

HOW I GOT
GOOD
AT CREATING
COMICS

My journey as a comic writer and artist is an interesting one a lot of trial and error to say the least. I have been drawing all my life since the age when I figured out that Crayons weren't candy lol..
Now I wasn't born with ability to draw at the level I do today. Like most I could only draw stick figures. Like every artist I worked at it and kept going..

The same was said with my writing I had to work at it. Story writing in Primary school was always my favorite time coming up with not that I was very creative at the time. I started with doing stories about my favorite characters I use to see on TV. Such as Batman the Ninja Turtles, Goku you name it.

With stories came fanart which came inspiration.. Through my high school years was when I started creating my own characters, Chase Hoodlands, Almighty-Eye some of the first comics I ever done. They didn't turn out pretty good as far as the art went or even the story but thats a part of learning trial and error..

So how did I get my comic art to the standard they are today.. I started buying comics and reading a lot of them.. So I could learn how these professional talented comic artist created such amazing art work. And that's how I got better still a lot of trial and error though..
I'll tell you since I've started I've started reading comics I learned a lot about shading drawing expression how to draw many different like buildings.. Backgrounds was the hardest for me a loot of times when I drew backgrounds they looked shocking lol..

Wasn't until I started reading Spawn I got good at my backgrounds cause I was able to understand shading and light composition I also started taking trips to a city to learn how shading works when light hits a building at certain angles and I find that helps a lot.

Story writing developed over time through trial and error creating comics that didn't quite make the cut I made mistakes I got suspended for a week from school writing a really graphic story with real names oopes haha.. My point is I got better at writing stories through reading a lot of novels comics of course and other sources I was able to really improve my comic stories to now they flow page to page... Most importantly I achieve that mistakes through failures and mistakes..

4 bits of advice

first read a lot of comics so you can pick up art tips buy how to draw books invest in improving your art

second keep writing stories start small work your way up. If you read one of your stories and decide its bad ask yourself okay how can I make this story better. And of course read novels read books about writing an extension of investing in your craft

And third embrace your failures and mistakes and learn from them. We live in a society that grooms us to think if we mistakes we must be punished for it or that we're no good. You see that all the time at school when kids are punished for making a mistake while trying to learn.

You see it all the time when a adult is at work they make a mistake or fails to do a certain task and they are fired and out of a job.. You must forget that mindset if your going to pursue something like this..

What If Christine Turned. A Daniel What If Discussion

Hey guys Ryan Melrose here and today it is time for my first What If based off an Independent Webcomic.

This is What If Christine turned
A Daniel What If
based off the webcomic by Sarah Nelson
please check out the series for yourself atwww.vermillionworks.com/daniel/enter

Lets get started
The What If starts right when Daniel is having his heart to heart with Christine revealing to het the terrible truth on how he became a Vampire. And who was responsible. Of course as we know by the main timeline Wayne was the one who murdered Daniel and accidentally set off the ritual that made Daniel into the monster he has become.
Christine is shocked by all this saddened and of course enraged. Something in Christine snaps like reality has amashed into pieces before her eyes. There is hate in her eyes hate for Wayne as well as for everyone else who treated Daniel badly. This is what created the Daniel before her. Now Daniel has finished talking and it's time for Daniel to slowly feed on Christine and do the inevitable. But  before he can sink his teeth into her Christine says it doesn't have to be this way. " When you went missing Daniel a part of my world went with you and when you returned I promised myself I was never letting you go again no matter what. Christine then grabs a Shovel and knocks Daniel out not for the rason you might be thinking. She runs off with the Shovel back to Daniel's grave site.

She runs like the wind she knows she won't have much time before Dniel wakes up and will begin to drain her. She begins digging at Daniels unmarked grave digging with a almost sadistic smile on her face. Digging like a Woman possessed. She hits something solid it is the same mysterious coffin Daniel was burried on top of. Christine  quickly removes one of her earings and and begins stabbing herself trying to perfectly replicate the circumstances that changed Daniel into a Vampire. Just like when Wayne stabbed Daniel. weakened and losing consciousness she lays down on the coffin.

At that moment Daniel catches up seeing his beloved Christine lyig motionless on the coffin. hristine was just able to get her eyes open she says with her dying breath.

'Bury me my love before it's too late..

Daniel is disturbed by this but ultimately understands what she's trying to do for him and obeys her wish. When he finishes he falls to his knees as the rain falls soaking him. as he cries saring at the hole he filled in.

"What have i done
not my Christine

Then the rain turned into thunder something was happening here as lightning shot across the sky. And with a loud burst Christine bursts out of the hole like Demon escaped from Hell.
She is laughing like an evil maniac is this really the same girl that went in. needless to say Daniel's happy to see his now Vampire girlfriend Christine.

When Christine finally decides to come down Daniel ambraces her in his arms he told her that was was reckless of you what if you had died.. Christine simply smiled and said life without you or a world whwere we can't be together would be world not worth living. Now at that moment they are interrupted by voice.

"Hey what are you two doing here  the cemetary is closed I won't have you causing trouble."
It was the new grounds keeper who had replaced Daniel his name was Buzz
As soon as Buzz began to sound he quickly became afraid of the couple when he spotted their red evil eyes
Christine instantly pounced the Grounds keeper and drained him completely and she rather enjoyed it.
About a week later Daniel and Christine had tracked down the detective and everyone else who knows abouthim and had a bit of a Putgig feast wiping them all out. Now with them out of the way they could kill  and feed with no problems.

Then came a month later
Daniel and Christine decided to get married of course since they have eaten most of their close they had to kidnap some guests for the wedding feast. Of course none of the guest realise they're the ones on the menu. Needless to say it was masacre under Gods house.
Thats where we'll leave things for now . did you enjoy this part ? would you like a Part 2? if so should Daniel and Cheistine have a kid  comment Yes or no to vote of yes should it be a boy or a girl also comment boy or girl to vote.

Comic Art Upadate Chase Hoodlands

Hey guys Welcome to a comic art update

Horror Web Comic review Daniel By Sarah Nels

Horror Web Comic review
Daniel By Sarah Nelson

Today for my first post on this blog and first written review I thought I would do a written review for the horror web comic Daniel by Sarah Nelson you may visit her site yourself right here
Or support her on her patreon

I've been reading quite a few webcomics lately being a struggling webcomic creator myself for me it's always amazing seeing what other talented people are coming up with, and one of the best webcomics I have read so far is Daniel

For me I was instantly hooked with the artstyle and the 1930s black and white comics are always really cool. We do get a little colour sometimes throughout the story almost gives it a Sin City feel. The character designs are amazing and Classy. I take my hat off to Sarah Nelson the ammount of research she must have had to do to find the right clothing designs for the characters and the settings and the Automobiles..

The story itself is what has kept me reading It's basically about this man named Daniel who has secretely been in love with his bestfriend a Woman named Christine. They have been close for years despite Christine being on and off relationship with this other man Wayne the confident up himself type. Daniel is the kind of shy guy much like myself I can relate who could never quite tell Christine how he felt. One day he had decided to try take the plunge and tell Christine. Before he could Wayne interrupted intimidating Daniel til he went back in his shell and walked away. That was the last anyone had seen of Daniel for a few months
until he returns as something else something terrifying

I find the story is very well structured and will leave anyone reading it wanting more. The story and art go hand in hand. I find as I read it more and got to know the Daniel character more the more I actually feel sorry for him because of the injustice he suffers throughout the story. It's very rare when any story can move me to tears. In my oppinion I hope somehow Daniel gets a happy ending. I feel this story has something for everyone. It's a little murder mystery, Romance, Slasher, psychological and supernatural thriller, and crime.
It's definitely a great read if you are a horror fanatic the death scenes are drawn great and has enough gore for those of you who don't mind the blood.
Not only is it a great horror tale it's also a great revenge story. and the Character development is just amazing
all packed up nice and neat and sweet package. I highly recommend giving it a read I am currently awaiting for the next episodes so I can keep reading. I highly recommend you check it out and decide for yourself. You won't be dissappointed

Sarah Nelson has done such an amazing job with this comic I'm looking forward to seeing more of her work in the near future.

I would like to thank you all for taking the time to read my first written review please help yourself to the free content on the side bar

and I invite you to check out my own horror webcomic Dead Girls Doll and thank you again
