With everything finally settled in the House of Loud. With Riley and Luna making peace. Infact he was now her number one fan even began providing security for all her gigs. Sorry Flip but no funny business from you when Riley is on the job. It was even starting to get to a point where Lucy was beginning to feel just that little bit left out.
However Riley was no fool he would always make sure he had time for Lucy after all he admired her most of all. Like every Loud! Lucy isn't afraid to be herself. Yes no matter which sibling Riley was hanging with he'd always include Lucy. Today Riley and Lucy took the Hearse out to the Beach for the day though Riley won't admit it I'm sure for once he's glad to be snuggling next to Lucy inside the Hearse rather than under it. Lucy tried to be all Sigh about the beach however Riley knew deep down Lucy was beach goer and it didn't take much for them to start having fun. Then the rain set in.
As everyone else at the Beach was scrambling about the place trying to run off Riley and Lucy remained snuggling in the rain I guess to them it was magical.
"Let me get this straight Lucy you're not into any superhero whatsoever is that right."
"Sigh sorry its just not my cup of tea."
As Riley investigated this he realised the superheroes of this world are nothing like the ones back home and there sparked an idea after all some of his belongings survived.
"Tell you what give me tonight to prove I can get you hooked on one Superhero after that I will drop the subject forever."
"Sigh! very well Riley do impress me!"
"Oh ho sarcasm trust me babe you're not gonna know what hit you!"
"I'm shaking!" Lucy says with a little smile.
Later that night Lucy and Riley have the TV all to themselves Riley inserts the movie as he went to return to the couch everyone else has crowded in curiosity. Yep they all knew about the bet.
"Well everyone braced yoursleves in the world I come from this only came out a year ago." As it turned out the movie turned out to be last years THE BATMAN.
Needless to say the dark theme and music of the film already have Lucy mesmerised in a total Awww. Though I think the rest of the Loud sisters were looking Pattison up and down especially Lori and Leni infact Lori hanged up on Boo Boo Bear I don't think even Luna could help herself. For nearly 3 hours the movie went. As most of the Household were becoming a little terrified none left the couch. As it was over the lights came back on.
"Well I got to say thats one exciting film" Said Mr Loud.
"Thanks Mr Loud So Lucy I'm waiting."
Lucy is sitting still not moving or talking her lips shaking as she tries to form words.
"Ttthat wwwas the darkest superhero movie I'd ever seen so dark and tragic almost a slasher flick turned into a Sherlock Holmes novel Sigh! Riley you were right can we watch more."
"If you insist."
So that night they had a Batman marathon though you could tell right away the two Tim Burton films were the over all favourites. Riley skipped the George Clooney one.
You can imagine Lincoln and Clyde were now Playing Batman and Robin. And Lana modified Lola's Princess car into a Batmobille she was not happy. Meanwhile Lisa was trying to build a Batwing.
Soon the films spread all over town and everyone was getting into the Batman spirit oh Riley what have you done!
