Daniel Fan Art and What If Christine got turned

Daniel Fan Art
By Ryan Melrose
based off the Webcomic
By Sarah Nelson
Hey guys Ryan Melrose here today I thought it would be fun to do a piece of fan art for that amazing horror romance comic I have been reading lately Daniel By Sarah Nelson.. The thing when I do fan art I tend to do my own thing with it maybe a prediction or theory of whats gonna come next. Or simply how I hope the story is going to go.

Or simply opening up Daniel to a What If scenario. In this case I wanted Daniel and Christine together as a dark blood sucking couple. As in What if Christine just can't bare to lose her beloved Daniel again. After all it's not like daniel had any choice in the matter perhaps finding out the truth on what happened to Daniel in the hands of Wayne caused Christine to feel Daniels pain and snap.
The pain of having the man she loved taken from her by foul play. The pain of a town who never gave a shit about Daniel. So rather than lose Daniel all over again she offers willingly to undergo the same ritual that turned Daniel into a vampire. So she could be with him til the end of time itself as his dark bride..

That's all I'm going to do for now unless Sarah gives me permission to continue this What if post further cause I would love to do Vampire Christine fan art and the next post will have more images..

Until then please feel free to read one of my own horror web comics Chase Hoodlands https://tapas.io/series/Chase-Hoodlands

Web Comic Review Cryptic Yume by Porche Johnson

Web Comic Review
Cryptic Yume by Porche Johnson
Hey guys today it is time for another Webcomic review this time I am reading a fun webcomic by Proche Johnson called Cryptic Yume an adventure and fantasy comic. feel free to read her web comic for yourself here https://tapas.io/series/Cryptic-Yume

First of all I love the art style and character designs the creatures in the comic look interesting I feel Porche has really brought to life quite the magical world there. The art style used is a pretty simple style but it works perfectly with this comic and looks of the characters stay the same. unlike other webcomics I've seen when creators try to do something of a more complicated art styles overtime their characters start looking different and constantly changing cause they get lazy.
This webcomic doesn't have that problem. I also like the colour scheme it really keeps your eyes glued to the page and really brings Porche's world to life.
The designs are really well done

The Story
The story is about this Janitor named Celeste who tends to day dream alot that she is this amazing warrior hero who is destined to defeat the dark creatures that want to conquer the universe. Which tends to get her in trouble with her boss.

In short she basically lives the same boring life everyday. Working as a Janitor than going home to do more cleaning for her parents. And has been made an outcast by her peers.
Until one day she encounters a magic fish creature who sends her off into a new magical world. Where she meets a group of heroes known as the Cryptzoo.
They believe Celeste is the chosen one who is destined to defeat the evil Goatman who wants to take over the planet..
Kind of like Flash Gordon if Flash Gordon was a Janitor and a 16 year old girl.

Honestly theres only one thing I find wrong with this webcomic. And that is theres simply not enough episodes and they stop right when the webcomic starts getting more interesting. I hope we get more episodes because this is a really entertaining comic and kept me amused while it lasted.

Thanks for reading my review for this webcomic if you wish to support me please check out my own fantasy webcomic https://tapas.io/series/Wakening-Dream I'll be finally updating it soon

Dragon Ball R&R Fan art Ranch Black

Dragon Ball R&R Fan Art
Ranch Black
Art By Ryan Melrose
Ranch has a brand new attitude

Hey guys Ryan Melrose here as most of you know I am a huge supporter of Lawrence Simpson aka Masako X and his amazing Dragon Ball What if stories.
Especially What if Raditz turned good. Lawrence is very talented at telling stories almost feel like I'm watching the show.
Then his What if became so popular he created a What If Raditz turned good spinoff Dragon Ball R&R which has given us all something really amazing and unique.

Not only has it gave us new amazing fan Dragon ball content it has inspired others including myself to create fan art and has resurected my love for everything Dragon Ball..
And the R&R craze has inspired much Ranch fan art. Now who is Ranch.
Ranch is a Half Saiyan Half Earthling and the daughter of Raditz The brother of Goku and Launch in Masako's universe. She is head strong confident and very powerful she is the cousin of Goten and Gohan and secretely crushing on Trunks.
Needless to say they are mischeivous trio. Typical monkeys

I highly recommend checking Dragon Ball R&R out

Like everyone I became swept in the R&R craze and drew some Ranch fanart and crossover art where I had her interacting with my own characters from my own webcomics
you can check out my webcomics here https://tapas.io/melrosejryan/series
bvv

Then I decided it would be fun to cross Ranch with my faavorite Dragon Ball Villain Goku Black. And just like that we have Ranch Black. It's been fun.. Ranch is voiced by Courtney Meeker. In my oppinion she really brings the character to life. Oh I'd be honoured if she quoted the above Ranch Black line in the speech bubble. I'll most likely post more fan art like these ones here for my blog.

defintely more to come in the future

-Ryan Melrose

Announcing New Father Sorrow Origin special Webcomic

Announcing New Father Sorrow
Origin special Webcomic
This new Father Sorrow comic will tell my original vision of the character. You could think of it like an alternate Universe.
For me Father Sorrow has always been a hard story to do for I've never really created a story that captures the feel I was trying to catch with the characters. However I believe with the story I wrote for this version I finally have the story I have been waiting for. I will be putting this in a seperate Webcomic series to the Original Father Sorrow webcomic series https://tapas.io/series/Father-Sorrow

The story is about a city plagued by a Satanic Cult and their evil leader and only Detective Frank Gavern is  the only man willing to stop it. One night the ruthless leader of the Satanists murders Frank's family and burns Frank alive and disposes of the bones down and old wishing Well.

The bottom of the well stands an ancient tablet that glows when the moonlight hits it. suddenly Frnaks bones re attach and new skin is forged transforming him into Father Sorrow an Ancient spirit a destroyer of evil. This will be different to the original.

The art style will be done as a black and white comic with a bit of a manga style
this is Father Sorrow Reckoning.

Horror Web Comic review Daniel By Sarah Nels

Horror Web Comic review
Daniel By Sarah Nelson

Today for my first post on this blog and first written review I thought I would do a written review for the horror web comic Daniel by Sarah Nelson you may visit her site yourself right here
Or support her on her patreon

I've been reading quite a few webcomics lately being a struggling webcomic creator myself for me it's always amazing seeing what other talented people are coming up with, and one of the best webcomics I have read so far is Daniel

For me I was instantly hooked with the artstyle and the 1930s black and white comics are always really cool. We do get a little colour sometimes throughout the story almost gives it a Sin City feel. The character designs are amazing and Classy. I take my hat off to Sarah Nelson the ammount of research she must have had to do to find the right clothing designs for the characters and the settings and the Automobiles..

The story itself is what has kept me reading It's basically about this man named Daniel who has secretely been in love with his bestfriend a Woman named Christine. They have been close for years despite Christine being on and off relationship with this other man Wayne the confident up himself type. Daniel is the kind of shy guy much like myself I can relate who could never quite tell Christine how he felt. One day he had decided to try take the plunge and tell Christine. Before he could Wayne interrupted intimidating Daniel til he went back in his shell and walked away. That was the last anyone had seen of Daniel for a few months
until he returns as something else something terrifying

I find the story is very well structured and will leave anyone reading it wanting more. The story and art go hand in hand. I find as I read it more and got to know the Daniel character more the more I actually feel sorry for him because of the injustice he suffers throughout the story. It's very rare when any story can move me to tears. In my oppinion I hope somehow Daniel gets a happy ending. I feel this story has something for everyone. It's a little murder mystery, Romance, Slasher, psychological and supernatural thriller, and crime.
It's definitely a great read if you are a horror fanatic the death scenes are drawn great and has enough gore for those of you who don't mind the blood.
Not only is it a great horror tale it's also a great revenge story. and the Character development is just amazing
all packed up nice and neat and sweet package. I highly recommend giving it a read I am currently awaiting for the next episodes so I can keep reading. I highly recommend you check it out and decide for yourself. You won't be dissappointed

Sarah Nelson has done such an amazing job with this comic I'm looking forward to seeing more of her work in the near future.

I would like to thank you all for taking the time to read my first written review please help yourself to the free content on the side bar

and I invite you to check out my own horror webcomic Dead Girls Doll and thank you again
