When Riley Met Lucy Loud

         Chapter One A strange girl and the even

stranger boy

 

Our story begins at the end of the school day the evening sky is going purple The Morticians club has called it a day as Lucy Loud is walking home from school with her best friend Haiku. Haiku was coming over as they were going to exchange and read their new poems. Little did they know that Lucy Louds life would change forever as she and Haiku accidentally run into the Two bullies Hank and Hawk.

"Say look Hank look at these freaks."

"Ha tell me about it hey it's a little early for Halloween Hahahaha!

"Sigh! Can you both just move you're wasting our time."

"Look at this Hawk this one thinks she’s tough what are you going to do about it."

Lucy and Hank stare each other down even though you can't see it on her face Lucy's eyes narrow more into a death stare. Then a voice is heard in the wind like out of nowhere.

"Why don't you leave these ladies alone." the voice said.

Lucy and Haiku turn to see a mysterious boy standing behind them.

"And what if we don’t small fry, we've squashed bugs bigger than you before."

Haiku and Lucy stare to see this boy is totally calm. Lucy can't help what is with this guy.

Suddenly the boy speaks.

" You sure you want to do that. I'm prepared but are you! Are you prepared to bet your life.

"THAT'S IT YOU'RE...." Before Hawk could finish his sentence and set up a Haymaker punch the mysterious boy struck first with a Palm transitioned to an elbow strike and kept hitting with speed and fury that all you could see is a cartoony brawl cloud when the dust clears the mysterious boy stood over Hawk.

"Hawk dude you're bleeding and if you're bleeding, I’m gonna Barf."

"Dude some of my bloods on you and now I'm gonna Barf!

The two bullies run off the sound of them vomiting can be heard.

"Hey new kid you didn't have to do that I already had it handled." Lucy says as she shows the boy a container of fake blood.

"You’re welcome by the way Lucy my name is Riley."

"Sigh! Very well you have my thanks." Lucy then notices bleeding coming from Riley's face

" You're hurt now I must make this right Sigh! You're coming to my house to get that stitched up,"

 

She grabs Riley comedically by the hand and literally drags him to her house despite his insistence that he was fine. As Lucy arrived home at THE LOUD HOUSE with her best friend Haiku and dead weight Riley. They move through the front door and inside was complete Chaos as the Loud Sublings were all over the place. Lana was throwing Mud pies at Lola while Lincoln was between them trying to settle them down about whatever it was they were arguing about this time.

Luna was rocking it out with new amazing Jams There is an explosion from up stairs Lisa blowing up her room again. as Lori, Leni, Lynn and Lilly all come rushing down the stairs. Lilly crawls right up to Lucy haiku and Riley and points directly at Riley and says.

"Pooh Pooh!."

At that moment everyone stops what they are doing and are completely fascinated with Riley

"Gasp can it be has it finally happened Lucy has finally brought a boy home." Lori says as she practically snatches Riley away and everyone is looking him over.

"He appears to be human enough." Lisa declares." Although a brain scan will confirm it."

"Sigh! He just helped me and Haiku out with some bullies Lori could you just stitch him up."

"Of course Come on Riley tell us all." as Lori and Leni and the rest of the Loud siblings shut themselves in Lori's room to hear the story as Lori patched Riley up. Leaving Lucy and Haiku alone downstairs

"Sigh!"

It had been hours until Riley was finally released from Lori’s room and with a little convincing from the master of convincement Lincoln Loud Their parents agreed to let Riley spend the night considering how late it had become.

Riley finally had a moment to himself or so he thought.

“You’re feeling better yet?” said Lucy who seemed to appear out of nowhere as she does.

“Yeah, I’m fine your sister did a good job. I’ll be honest I didn’t think they were ever letting me go free.”

“So I guess you’re going home.”

“Nope your parents said I should stay here tonight considering how late it is.”

“Sigh! Very well goodnight don’t let Fangs bite!”

“Fangs?” Before Riley finish his question

Fangs the Bat swoops past him.

“Wow” He gazes!

She has a pet Bat he thought to himself before he could say anymore Lucy was gone disappeared into the dark.

Two Hours later.

Lucy tried very hard to sleep in her Coffin yet she couldn’t escape her thoughts about Riley. Thoughts like No one has stood up for me like that before. He wasn’t even fazed when I appeared that usually spooks everyone.

“Sigh! come on Fangs.”

Lucy along with her pet Bat Fangs she decides to go out into the yard a place she would often go to get peace and stare at the infinite darkness above the night sky.

As she ventures outside, she is surprised at what she sees Riley is outside and meditating. He also seemed to speaking words of some kind.

Unrecognisable to humans accept for certain few. “Ph’nglui mglw’nafh Cthulhu Rl’yeh wgah’nagl fhtagn”

Lucy happens to be one of the few who recognise it.

“He’s read the Necronomicon” She then Sigh’s in a loving way.

“Hi Lucy!”

“Ahhh” she screams then thinking. He scared me.”

“Sorry to scare you so you couldn’t sleep to well you’re welcome to join me if you want.”

“Okay”

“So I see you were saying the Cthulhu chant have you read the Necronomicon and the writings of HP Lovecraft.”

“Actually I’ve read The bible of Cthulhu I’m actually a member of the Cult Of Cthulhu religion.”

Lucy looks to Riley as if her mind has just been blown.

“There’s a real Cult of Cthulhu?”

“Yep, I assure you don’t behave like the ones in the Mythos we don’t kill anyone it’s a legit recognised religion where we consider HP Lovecraft as a prophet That Great Cthulhu who may live in alternate universe passed on visions of himself and his brethren to HP Love craft himself.

“Woah that’s deep.” Lucy said fascinated and wanted to know more.

After that Lucy shared one of her poems.

“Darkness despair the only thing that’s fair we all share it, we all carry it deep down we’re all Impaired.”

“Very dark and Deep I like it.”

A small smile appears on Lucy’s face

“You really like my poem.”

“Sure do! But I ask who is the more impaire the ones enslaved by everyday routine til returned to the void. Or is it the ones who truly recognise the insanity of the world are they the ones who are truly free tell me how do we compare.

“Sigh!” Lucy does again in a loving way.

The next day the Loud family wake up and are getting ready for school it’s not until they do a head count they notice both Lucy and Riley are missing.

“Say where are Lucy and Riley?” Lincoln asks.

“I’m not sure?” Lori responds

Suddenly everyone is going crazy Luna going on about how she wanted to show Riley some more of her Jams. Lola wanting to invite him to a tea party. Lincoln wanted to share his Ace and Savy comics collection. It soon became an all out bicker.

Until there father Lynn Senior came into the room.

“Oh are you looking for Riley and Lucy they’ve already left they said they wanted to walk to school together.

Everyone couldn’t help but Awwww.

“I can’t believe Lucy has a boyfriend.” Lori declared.

“Really? I didn’t think they were alike at all Riley doesn’t seem like her type.” Lincoln said in a thinking pose.

“Perhaps brother there is a lot more to Riley than meets the eye if you guys had let me Cat scan him we’d have the answers” Lisa pouted.

“Perhaps they really are two peas in a Pod Hahahaha!” Luan joked.

As Time went by the Louds were still bickering until Lincoln looked at his watch.

“Guys stop we’re late for school.”

Just like that everyone is rushing out the door to Vanzilla in hopes to beat the school Bell.
